Influence of nitromethane concentration on ignition energy and explosion parameters in gaseous nitromethane/air mixtures

▶ The influence of the nitromethane concentration on the combustion parameters was discussed. ▶ The measured MIE of the gaseous nitromethane/air mixture is equal to 0.7 mJ. ▶ Combustion pressure of gaseous nitromethane/air mixture reaches highest at concentration of 40%. ▶ Maximum pressure rise rate of gaseous nitromethane/air mixture is 11MPa/s at concentration 20%.
