Development and validation of a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for determination of deoxynivalenol and its metabolites in human urine

► This study includes simple validated GC-MS method for determination of DON and its metabolites in human urine. ► DON and its metabolites can be extracted by SPE C18 from human urine. ► Analytical features: high recovery, good detection limit and broad-range linearity. ► DON and DOM-1 were successfully determined in human urine.
