A study of anti-cancer effects of Funalia trogii in vitro and in vivo

► Funlia Trogii extract (FTE) shows good anti-tumour toxicity against a range of tumour cell lines. ► FTE shows good anti-tumour toxicity in both normal and low oxygen levels. ► FTE is toxic to proliferating endothelial cells (EC) but not quiescent EC. ► FTE is not toxic to proliferating fibroblasts. ► FTE may provide the source of a novel anti-tumour agent which works at all oxygen levels.
