Phytochemical profile, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and hypoglycemic potential of hydroalcoholic extracts from Citrus medica L. cv Diamante flowers, leaves and fruits at two maturity stages

► The composition and biological properties of Citrus medica cv Diamante were studied. ► Flowers and leaves showed the highest total phenols and flavonoids content. ► Flowers and endocarp of mature fruits exhibited strong antioxidant activity. ► Mature fruits endocarp inhibited α-amylase 2-fold higher than immature fruits. ► C. medica cv Diamante could be used for development of nutraceuticals.
