Clinical Outcomes of Persistent and Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation in Patients with Stroke

Patients with PeAF and cardioembolic stroke due to NVAF had more severe neurologic deficits on admission, more frequent major arterial occlusion, and poorer outcomes than those with PAF.
