Interleukin-10-819C>T polymorphism contributed to cancer risk: Evidence from 29 studies

► It is a meta-analysis to investigate the association between IL-10-819 C>T and overall cancer risk in humans. ► We found that the IL-10-819C>T polymorphism was associated with a decrease in overall cancer risk. ► The risk remained for studies of “other cancer”, smoking-related cancer, Asian and hospital-based studies.
