Differential expression of immune genes of adult honey bee (Apis mellifera) after inoculated by Nosema ceranae

▸ The immune responses to Nosema ceranae-inoculated worker honeybees were investigated. ▸ Transcript levels of AMPs were significantly suppressed in Nosema-infected bees. ▸ Eater and Vg expressions did not differ significantly in Nosema-infected bees. ▸ We reaffirmed that N. ceranae infection induces honey bee immunosuppression.
