Changes in taste reactivity to intra-oral hypertonic NaCl after lateral parabrachial injections of an α2-adrenergic receptor agonist

► FURO + CAP sc increased ingestive and decreased rejection responses to IO 0.3 M NaCl. ► Moxonidine injected into the LPBN did not change ingestive and rejection responses before the access to fluids. ► LPBN moxonidine increased ingestive responses after water and 0.3 M NaCl ingestion. ► LPBN moxonidine decreased rejection responses after water and 0.3 M NaCl ingestion.
