Lipase immobilization on epoxy-activated poly(vinyl acetate-acrylamide) microspheres

- Epoxy microspheres were prepared and used to immobilize lipase.
- The stirring intensity considerably affected the epoxy modification.
- Enzyme overloading could exert steric effects on lipase activity.
- The activity of the immobilized lipase reached 261.3 U/g microsphere.
- The thermal stability of the immobilized lipase increased greatly.
