• Organophosphorous compound modification of nanowires has been obtained.
• Successful connection with trypsin via organophosphorous compounds has been tested.
• Influence on modification from wires surface layer has been tested.
In the presented study, efforts have been undertaken to obtain the magnetic nanowires of multisegmental internal structure by AC and DC electrodeposition methods. The core–shell nanowires were obtained by wetting chemical deposition followed by thermal crystallization and electrodeposition. Such nanowires were tested to obtain functionalization by organophosphorous compounds and finally immobilize enzymes like trypsin. All obtained nanostructures were tested by X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy.
The structured nanowires are particularly interesting due to their potential application as transfer media for linkers which are specifically bonded only to one type of surfaces. Compounds which are recognized, for example by Au, are not connected to FexO. Such specific recognition allows much more effective usage of magnetic nanostructures.Figure optionsDownload as PowerPoint slide
