Curcumin-cyclodextrin encapsulated chitosan nanoconjugates with enhanced solubility and cell cytotoxicity

- A highly soluble CUR-CD hollow spheres are prepared via scalable spray drying method.
- CUR-CD was encapsulated within chitosan nanoparticles to form CUR-CD-CS.
- CUR-CD-CS showed superior cell cytotoxicity in skin cancer cell lines (SCC25).
