Silver-doped manganese dioxide and trioxide nanoparticles inhibit both Gram positive and Gram negative pathogenic bacteria

- Doped MnO2 and Mn2O3 samples were synthesized by co-precipitation method.
- Doped MnO2 sample were more nanosized compare to doped Mn2O3 samples.
- Antibacterial activity was tested for Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.
- Ag-doped MnO2 and Mn2O3 samples showed good antibacterial property.
