Comprehensive study of cationic liposomes composed of DC-Chol and cholesterol with different mole ratios for gene transfection

► Anhydrous domain in liposomes was certified while containing high contents of cholesterol. ► DC-Chol/cholesterol liposomes possessed more stable particle size, lower turbidity. ► More steady transfection activity in presence of high concentration serum could be obtained by formation of cholesterol domain.
