Covalent bonding of GYIGSR to EVAL membrane surface to improve migration and adhesion of cultured neural stem/precursor cells

► GYIGSR was immobilized on EVAL membranes. ► Compared with EVAL, EVAL-GYIGSR improved adhesion and migration of cells. ► Neurospheres on EVAL-GYIGSR membrane were able to differentiate into neural lineage cells. ► EVAL-GYIGSR supported neural cells attachment on substrate in long-term culture.
