Antibacterial activities of Nd doped and Ag coated TiO2 nanoparticles under solar light irradiation

► Nd doped, Ag coated TiO2 nanoparticles of size ∼9 nm were prepared by sol-gel method. ► These nanoparticles have been depicted as promising bactericidal agents. ► SEM and TEM analyses have been done to propose the mechanism for bactericidal action.
