Imaging artifacts induced by electrical stimulation during conventional fMRI of the brain

► Standard fMRI during tDCS and tACS were performed on two post-mortem subjects. ► tDCS induced signals in both superficial and deep structures. ► Modeling of current flow suggested a coincidence with this fMRI-artifact.
