Dynamic Causal Modelling of epileptic seizure propagation pathways: A combined EEG-fMRI study

► Seizure EEG-fMRI data of a hypothalamic hamartoma epileptic patient was analysed. ► Two competing hypotheses for seizure propagation pathways were tested. ► DCM was used to estimate all plausible connectivity models of seizure propagation. ► Bayesian model selection yielded a model consistent with previous evidence. ► This study provides the first application of DCM to EEG-fMRI data of human seizures.
