Absolute quantification of resting oxygen metabolism and metabolic reactivity during functional activation using QUO2 MRI

► Generalized calibration model used to get large set of vascular and metabolic data. ► Baseline CMRO2 and OEF measured over functionally-determined ROI. ► Method used to get baseline and evoked metabolism for visual and modified Stroop task. ► The method uses information from hypercapnia, hyperoxia and both combined (carbogen). ► All estimates are in the physiological range, showing the applicability of the method.
