Enhanced functional networks in absolute pitch

► Absolute Pitch subjects and matched controls rated emotions in music during fMRI. ► APs showed more activation in STG, postcentral gyrus, amygdala, and the midbrain. ► Graph theory analysis showed higher network statistics in APs, especially in LSTG. ► Network statistics reflect behavioral performance and replicate in rest-only data. ► AP subjects have an enhanced functional brain network.
