Detection of epileptic activity in fMRI without recording the EEG

► We develop a method for the detection of epileptic activity in fMRI without EEG. ► We validate the method on both simulated data and epileptic patients. ► The results are concordant between our method and EEG-fMRI analysis. ► Our method outperforms 2D-TCA approach for this application.
