Pleasant human touch is represented in pregenual anterior cingulate cortex

► We evaluated human touch with movement. ► We compared human touch and rubber glove with and without movement. ► Touch conditions were evaluated with pleasantness ratings and fMRI. ► Human touch with movement was rated as most pleasant. ► Human touch with movement activated pregenual anterior cingulate cortex.
