Quantitative pharmacologic MRI: Mapping the cerebral blood volume response to cocaine in dopamine transporter knockout mice

► Knockout of DAT does not abolish cocaine response measured with pharmacological MRI. ► DAT knockout mice display reduced reward circuit ΔCBV in response to cocaine. ► Large negative ΔCBV cocaine responses were seen in the nucleus accumbens and cortex.
