A practical clinical method to quantify language lateralization in fMRI using whole-brain analysis

►Most methods to compute language lateralization from fMRI use a threshold. ►Threshold dependant methods have been shown to be unreliable. ►We present an automatic method without a threshold, using hemispheric histograms. ►The method is applied to 63 patients with known lateralization from invasive means. ►A derived database helps predict lateralization from new patients.
