Prediction of subsequent recognition performance using brain activity in the medial temporal lobe

►fMRI signals were acquired during human participants' encoding of phonogram stimuli. ►By using multivariate pattern analysis, informative clusters were found in the MTL. ►fMRI signals of the clusters accurately predicted each subsequent recognition result.
