A combination of atlas-based and voxel-wise approaches to analyze metabolic changes in autoradiographic data from Alzheimer's mice

► We combined atlas- and voxel-based methods to improve autoradiographic data analysis. ► To our knowledge, this approach is the first one for mice study. ► We automatically indexed the voxel-wise approach results in anatomical regions. ► We improved the statistical analysis using the atlas-based segmentation. ► Our approach is faster and more accurate than the independent use of each method.
