►Attention to sound motion modulates the morphology of the cortical response to motion onset (MOR). ►Especially later portions of the MOR are increased in amplitude when sound motion is task-relevant. ►Cortical source localization indicates that the dorsal frontal cortex is specifically involved in processes of auditory spatial attention.
