Influenza vaccination coverage and timeliness among children requiring two doses, 2004-2009

► Most children requiring two influenza vaccine doses failed to receive both doses. ► Children who were older or Latino were less likely to be fully vaccinated. ► Full influenza vaccination coverage by December 15 was particularly low. ► Receipt of the 2nd influenza vaccine was often delayed among those fully vaccinated. ► Missed opportunities to receive the 2nd influenza vaccine dose were common.
