Conductive polyurethane composites containing polyaniline-coated nano-silica

► Silica-polyaniline (PANI) core-shell nanoparticles feature good solvent resistance. ► PU-PANI-silica shows excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical properties. ► Surface resistance was reduced for two orders due to the PANI-shell structure. ► Tensile strength and elongation can increase 3.1 and 3.8 times, respectively.
