3D polymer nanostructures fabrication by AFM tip-based single scanning with a harder cantilever

► AFM-based single scan/wear test is done with the normal load of micro Newtons on PC. ► Deformation state map including transition, bundle and disorder are defined. ► The feed, especially the normal load, leads to the formation of bundles. ► The period and height of bundles are determined mainly by the normal load. ► The tip geometry may result in failure of formation of 3D bundles.
