Carbon dioxide sequestration through novel use of ion exchange fibers (IX-fibers)

▶ Carbon dioxide sequestration is feasible using ion exchange fibers. ▶ CO2 sequestration occurs concurrently with softening or metals removal processes. ▶ A CO2 regenerant eliminates the use of brine, acid, or other aggressive chemicals. ▶ A synergy exists between this technology and CO2 intensive industries.
