Formation and characterization of polyethersulfone membranes using different concentrations of polyvinylpyrrolidone

► PES membrane has been fabricated using phase inversion method. ► The formatted PES membranes have been characterized using AFM and solute transport method. ► Zeta potential measurements and contact angle measurements were conducted. ► Addition of PVP has been found to enhance the permeability of membrane. ► Mechanical property of the new formatted membranes has been influenced by PVP.
