Hyperviscosity in Renal Transplant Recipients

We suggest that the hyperviscous state of the renal transplant recipients may arise from the inflammatory state, hypertension, and increased fat mass and increased LVMI. Hyperviscosity is also closely related to renal allograft dysfunction.
