Synthesis and characterization of novel PEO-MCM-41/PVDC nanocomposite membrane

► MCM-41/PVDC nanocomposite membrane was prepared to enhance the water permeation flux. ► The PEO-MCM-41 incorporated into PVDC matrix to increase membrane hydrophilicity. ► Presence of MCM-41 in PVDC, improved the hydrodynamic characteristics of membranes.
