Application of membrane technology on semiconductor wastewater reclamation: A pilot-scale study

► Semiconductor wastewater contains high turbidity and conductivity caused by nano-scale and micro-scale particles. ► A three-stage water treatment system has been developed for semiconductor wastewater treatment. ► The system contains fiber ball filtration followed by ultrafiltration and reverse osmoses membrane units. ► The water quality could meet the water reuse standards after treatment. ► Results from this study will be helpful in designing a scale-up system for practical application.
