TiO2 entrapped nano-composite PVDF/SPES membranes: Preparation, characterization, antifouling and antibacterial properties

► Formation of novel super-hydrophilic PVDF membranes using SPES and TiO2 additives. ► Filtration results showed antifouling properties for TiO2 modified membranes. ► UV-irradiated TiO2 modified membrane indicated the good antibacterial activity.
