Transcranial direct current stimulation increases resting state interhemispheric connectivity

► The left DLPFC connectivity after tDCS was increased in the right hemisphere. ► The left DLPFC connectivity after tDCS in the left hemisphere decreased after tDCS. ► tDCS on the left DLPFC increased interhemispheric connectivity at rest. ► These connectivity changes may be associated with the cognitive improvements.
