Infusion of Sydenham's chorea antibodies in striatum with up-regulated dopaminergic receptors: A pilot study to investigate the potential of SC antibodies to increase dopaminergic activity

► Infusion of Sydenham's chorea (SC) antibodies in the striatum of rats. ► Rats had previous unilateral lesion of nigro-striatal system with 6-OH-dopamine. ► SC antibodies induced significantly greater number of contralateral rotations. ► The results suggest that SC antibodies have in vivo biological effect.
