Partial rescue of NT-3 null mutant phenotype by a PDGF-β regulated transgene

► We introduce the PDGF-β-regulated NT-3 transgene into NT-3 null-mutant background. ► Transgenic NT-3 expression results in partial rescue of the proprioceptive innervation. ► Expression of transgenic NT-3, results in the extension of the survival rate of null-mutant animals.
