Lesions of the dentate and interposed nuclei are associated with impaired prehension in cerebellar patients

► Voxel-based lesion symptom mapping was performed in focal cerebellar patients. ► Cerebellar regions which are crucial for reaching and grasping were identified. ► Cerebellar patients showed slower movement compared to controls. ► Deficits were associated with lesions of the cerebellar cortex and nuclei.
