Proteomic analysis of the tegument and excretory-secretory products of Dicrocoelium dendriticum (Digenea) adult worms

► The excretory-secretory and tegument extracts of Dicrocoelium dendriticum adults were obtained. ► 2-DE and MALDI-TOF/TOF techniques were used to identify the most abundant proteins. ► Immunoblot was carried out to identify 23 antigenic proteins from both extracts. ► The largest group of proteins was the metabolic enzymes.
