Strongyloides ratti infection modulates B and T cell responses to third party antigens

► Strongyloides ratti suppressed humoral response to thymus dependent antigens. ► S. ratti suppressed CD4+ T cell proliferation in vivo. ► Predominantly Th1 associated IgG2 response was suppressed. ► Humoral response to thymus independent antigens were not altered. ► Suppression of humoral response was independent of IL-10.
