Correlation between steroid sex hormones, egg laying capacity and cercarial shedding in Biomphalaria alexandrina snails after treatment with Haplophyllum tuberculatum

► Haplophyllum tuberculatum was tested as plant molluscicide. ► Biomphalaria alexandrina snails were selected for this study. ► Alterations in steroid sex hormones, egg laying capacity and cercarial shedding were observed. ► Histopathological changes were also noticed.
