Oocyst shedding in cats vaccinated by the nasal and rectal routes with crude rhoptry proteins of Toxoplasma gondii

► Cats were immunized with crude rhoptries of Toxoplasma gondii. ► Five groups (n = 5) were performed, and nasal and rectal route were tested. ► Immunized animals shed 98% less oocysts than control group.
