Trichinella spiralis: Intranasal immunization with attenuated Salmonella enterica Carrying a gp43 antigen-derived 30mer epitope elicits protection in BALB/c mice

► Salmonella enterica displayed, on the surface, a Trichinella spiralis 30mer epitope. ► Recombinant Salmonella protected mice against the T. spiralis challenge (61.83%). ► Recombinant Salmonella induced antigen-specific IgG1 and significant IL-5 release.
