Analysis on the reactivity of five subunits of antigen B family in serodiagnosis of echinococcosis

► The reactivity of five antigen B subunits of echinococcus was analyzed. ► Orthologous AgB subunits showed no statistical difference in detecting CE and AE sera. ► Subunit EgAgB1, EgAgB2 and EgAgB4 were the main reactive subunit in sera detection. ► The predominant antibody response to AgB subunits was the IgG4 subclass. ► Cocktail subunit antigens may improve the positive detection rate.
