Fischoederius cobboldi: A scanning electron microscopy investigation of surface morphology of adult rumen fluke

► This is a first study of the SEM structure of Fischoederius cobboldi. ► The folds are made up of interlacing ridges and narrow furrows. ► The surface of ridges is adorned with short microvilli. ► Type 1 and 2 papillae appear in single or in a group of two to three units. ► The spines are not present.
