Toxoplasma gondii antigens: Recovery analysis of tachyzoites cultivated in Vero cell maintained in serum free medium

► This study showed the capacity of Toxoplasma gondii grown in Vero cell cultures in a medium serum-free. ► After many passages tachyzoites maintain the same antigenic proprieties as those maintained in mice. ► Culture media without any animal derived components produced tachyzoites especially for antigens.
