Mining: Bowl dehydrator design for coal slurry processing

To improve the dewatering of coal slurry, Zheng Gangfeng and his colleagues at Anhui University of Science and Technology in China have developed and built a new design of bowl dehydrator with a spiral screen. Here, they discuss its operating principles and salient features, and present test results that demonstrate its potential for industrial-scale application.
