Ultra pure water: Intensive water demineralisation through ion exchange

Steam generators, turbines and boilers require supplies of ultra pure water. New research by Russian company BMT has shown that ion exchange can be used to achieve this without the need for mixed-bed polishers. Dr. Sc. Alexander Pororov, Natalia Kornilova and Konstantin Platonov explain.
