Filter media: Nanofibres continue to lead recent media developments

Anouncements regarding novel kinds of filtration media are now a regular occurrence. Some of these may be no more than a slight improvement on a long established range of media, while others can be quite different from anything that has gone before them. In this article Ken Sutherland reviews some of the more novel kinds, with a concentration on those made from very fine materials - nanofibres - which is where the more novel kinds are likely to be found.
